Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Social Media Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for crafting our voice across various platforms. Your creativity and strategic thinking will be pivotal in defining how we connect with our online community. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute innovative social media strategies that align with Amazon's brand and business goals.
- Community Engagement: Engage with our diverse customer base through proactive communication, respond to inquiries, and foster meaningful conversations across all social media platforms.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics, analyze social media traffic, and compile comprehensive reports to assess the impact of campaigns and engagement.
- Collaborative Campaign Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, PR, and Product to launch product campaigns and promotions that drive social engagement.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on the latest industry trends, emerging social platforms, and technologies to kept Amazon at the forefront of social media marketing.
- Content Creation: Create compelling visual and written content tailored to each platform, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and objectives.
- Influencer Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers to help amplify our messaging and extend our reach.
- Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand ambassador on social media, representing our values and mission to our followers.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in social media management or a similar role, preferably within a top revenue company.
- Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and community engagement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools to measure success and inform future strategies.
- A deep understanding of various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
- Adept at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
